Our Impact
Meadowbrook Center for Learning Differences (MCLD) is a nonprofit educational organization serving students and families throughout Rochester and Oakland County.
Founded: 1988

Staff Expertise: Tutors are credentialed educators, many current or former teachers
Founded by local educators committed to helping all children succeed, Meadowbrook Center was created as a place where students with learning differences could receive individualized support in a caring, welcoming environment.
Unlike franchise tutoring programs, Meadowbrook is deeply rooted in the local community and governed by a volunteer board dedicated to making high-quality education accessible to all families.

Meadowbrook Center works with:

Support Our Mission
As a nonprofit organization, we rely on donations to provide scholarships for families who otherwise could not afford specialized educational support.





My daughter worked with Mr. Hedlund (who took her as a student last minute) to improve her SAT math score. She then worked with him for her pre-calc class. She had a great experience as well.
The tutors here are kind and flexible. They really care about their students and work to develop plans that work for each student's needs
