Gary has tutored both of my high school daughters in Geometry and Honors Pre-Calc. He is someone who supports not just our children’s education, but their growth as learners and individuals. It’s been a pleasure working with him.

Meadowbrook Center for Learning differences has been phenomenal for both of my children. My son has a vision disorder which makes reading tiring and it can be a slow process. He has been coming for math tutoring (Ms Kareem, then Mr. Hedlund) for 4 years and his confidence has increased dramatically (and has gone from a 'C' math student to an 'A' math student). His tutors have developed a tutoring plan to work ahead of where the class is, so he feels prepared for the lesson each week and they review after quizzes/exams to improve understanding of the material as needed.

My daughter worked with Mr. Hedlund (who took her as a student last minute) to improve her SAT math score. She then worked with him for her pre-calc class. She had a great experience as well.

The tutors here are kind and flexible. They really care about their students and work to develop plans that work for each student's needs

My daughter has been working with Gary since February on her SAT math skills. His patience and his ability to explain things to her at a level that she understands has given her confidence and has helped to increase her score. When working through areas of math, Gary has walked concepts back to ensure that her foundation is solid and works to give her tools to solve problems in a timed situation. He shows a true investment in her success. I highly recommend Gary for test prep, or math assistance in general.

The tutors, staff, administration, everyone there loves teaching and loves our kids. You can tell from the effort they put into the kids that they are invested in their learning. I am so thankful to have found them. I highly recommend them. My kids have gone there for math and Spanish.

Meadowbrook Learning has been a wonderful help for both of my daughters. Gary has been instrumental in helping them both master Physics and Pre-Calc/Calc. They both appreciate the numerous different ways he can approach a problem so they can better understand the material. Gary has been patient with them and given them confidence to succeed in test taking. Aside from his great teaching ability, he’s a wonderful man. The girls often refer to him as an extra grandpa. I think their comfort with him helps them ask questions and not feel embarrassed.

Meadowbrook Center for Learning has been an incredible resource for our family! They helped our son catch up in math. His tutor, John, made a subject that was once a struggle something he actually looked forward to. That’s no small feat! They support learners of all ages with a variety of services, but we were especially impressed with their math expertise. If you’re looking for patient, knowledgeable, and effective tutoring, I highly recommend this organization.
